As a Heavy Trailer Mechanic, your key responsibility will be to complete initial set up and maintenance work on a vast array of heavy trailers. You will perform preventative maintenance of trailers; inspect and install wiring for trailer lights and tires; install GPS systems; weld parts as directed, and test components and systems to verify work completed.

What it takes:

  • 1-2 years of experience working on semi-trailers or related experience
  • Prior welding experience
  • Ability to provide own hand tools
  • Mechanical and Electrical aptitude
  • Basic computer proficiency (desired)
