The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:

  • Promote safety – assist with the implementation of all applicable HSE programs, policies and procedures
  • Work closely with Top Lander to receive all equipment that is sent down, up and out of the tunnel.
  • Keep all personnel clear of shafts, perimeters and incoming loaders.
  • Distribute equipment and tools to crew members.
  • Ensure that the area is continually kept clean.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or GED, 0-2 years of prior related experience or equivalent combination.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent verbal communication and mechanical aptitude.
  • Possess crane signal certification and confined space training.
