As a Field Mechanic, your key responsibility will be to maintain service operations by inspecting, repairing and maintaining vehicles and heavy construction equipment. You will keep equipment available for use by inspecting, testing, and performing preventative maintenance; communicate with operators on functional condition of equipment and perform necessary repairs; lead the maintenance and repair of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic components.

What it takes:

  • Associate’s degree or 2-year degree from a technical school (equivalent years of related experience also acceptable)
  • 3 years of related experience
  • Welding and fabrication experience
  • Experience with DOT inspections, hydraulics, drive train, controls, and electronic diagnostics (desired)
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Federal medical card
  • Hazmat endorsement (desired)
  • Travel
