Job Description

This position is responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles that are classified as class 1-5.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:

  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture of all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.  Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues on suspension, brakes, drive line, etc.
  • Complete minor repairs such as replacing mirrors, grill, interior work, etc.
  • Complete preventative maintenance on vehicles.
  • Perform oil changes and fluid refills.
  • Test components/systems to verify work completed and vehicle is returned to full operational capacity.
  • Complete daily maintenance and cleaning of work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates must have completed a formal automotive technician training program or possess related experience. Candidate must be able to provide own hand tools. Basic computer proficiency and valid driver’s license is needed for this position.  Other qualifications include effective oral and written communication skills, working independently as well as in a team setting, attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multitask.
