Job Description

This position is responsible for assembling, installing and maintaining pipe systems under direct supervision.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:

  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
  • Select type and size of pipe lining, and related materials and equipment according to specifications.
  • Applies pressure in pipe system and observes connected pressure gauge to test system for leaks.
  • Measure and mix catalyst using precise weight measurements. Track number of batches completed. 
  • Perform quality control testing by operating equipment to verify work completed.
  • Operate forklift to move parts throughout shop and yard
  • Perform mechanical inspection on refrigerator trucks: (e.g. oil, antifreeze, temperature, belts, batteries, etc.)
  • Complete entry into fleet software to record work performed, hours, etc.
  • Move trucks within the yard as needed.
  • Complete daily maintenance and cleaning of work area.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Class A commercial driver’s license is preferred, but not required.  Candidates must have basic computer skills and have the ability to lift objects weighing greater than fifty pounds on a daily basis. Additional qualifications include effective written and verbal communications skills, strong attention to detail, capability to multitask, and work independently as well as in a team environment.
