The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:

  • Promote safety – assist with the implementation of all applicable HSE programs, policies and procedures.
  • Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for qualifications (RFQs), and requests for Information (FRIs).
  • Build relationships with estimators and project management staff.
  • Collaborate with project managers and field team to brainstorm strategy and approach and ensure construction details are captured in proposal outlines, templates, and other responses.
  • Develop, keep, track, and record templates and responses for RFP’s, RFQ’s, and RFI’s.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business or Construction Management.
  • 1-3 years of prior construction experience is preferred.
  • Previous negotiation experience is preferred.
  • Manage tight deadlines.
  • Applicants must be able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with various levels of management.
  • Excellent computer software skills, specifically with estimating software, are preferred.
